Grandma's buttons

I got Grandma's old buttons a long time ago. My mom put some on a shirt for me in highschool (which I think I'm going to frame). Then after I got married and had a house, they were put in an old jar and I used them for decorating. Now, I have made a few of them into rings. And I couldn't bear the thought of cutting the thread out of some.
